The next SEGI National Congress will take place in Verona from 9 to 12 September 2025 with a focus on innovation in minimally invasive gynecological surgery and beyond.

The pre-congress courses will all take place on September 9th and will focus on robot-assisted surgical and endoscopic anatomy using the main teaching and learning tool such as the Cadaver Lab of the prestigious ICLO center in Verona.

Live surgical interventions are planned from the major reference centers of our country for laparoscopic, robot-assisted and hysteroscopic surgery with commentary and discussion by the major experts both from the operating rooms and in the classroom in Verona. The readings will focus on the recent acquisitions and possibilities of the new latest generation robots with particular attention to the comparative aspects between the various technologies available today. Space will be given to the diagnostic aspects that can be acquired with advanced sonographic and hysteroscopic technology. Finally, the current knowledge acquired at the national and international level in uterus transplantation will be presented and discussed with analysis of the specific aspects of reproductive medicine, obstetrics and bioethics.

Therefore, a program that on the one hand can introduce less experienced surgeons to more complex techniques thanks to tutoring during cadaveric dissection, on the other hand more experienced operators will be able to acquire greater knowledge from live viewing and critical discussion of complex interventions conducted with the most modern technological assistance. All in the setting of romantic Verona and its food and wine culture.
