Dear colleagues and friends,
It is with great pleasure that I announce and invite you to the Second International Congress on Minimally Invasive Surgery, to be held at the Hilton Hotel in Belgrade from October 8 to 10, 2026.
In collaboration with Prof. Pašić (USA) and Prof. Alagić (NOR)—legends of laparoscopic surgery and dear friends of ours—we are bringing together outstanding speakers from around the world.
Distinguished local experts will also be among the speakers, and one session will cover the latest trends in laparoscopic abdominal surgery. There will also be surprises to delight laparoscopic surgery enthusiasts.
Three courses will run in parallel with the congress: hysteroscopy, advanced laparoscopy, and laparoscopic management of pelvic floor disorders. You can view the theoretical lectures for these courses in the congress program at uges.rs.
Practical training for course participants is scheduled to take place after the congress at the Emergency Center of the University Clinical Center of Serbia. Running from October 10 to 17, the training will involve practice on simulators; the schedule will be determined based on the number and needs of the participants, with further details to be provided during the congress.
The congress and the courses have been individually accredited by the Health Council of the Republic of Serbia. Registration is currently open via uges.rs, and the number of places is limited. The Congress is organized by the Association for Gynecological Endoscopy of Serbia, the Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics of the Clinical Center of Serbia (UKCS), and the Emergency Center of the UKCS.
On behalf of the entire organizing team, Scientific Program Director Prof. Rešad Pašić, and myself, I extend a warm welcome and invite you to join us for networking and the exchange of knowledge and skills.
Prof. Tatjana Božanović, MD, PhD
