Malzoni Research Hospital is a healthcare facility founded in 1956, which over the years has undertaken a development path characterized by continuous scientific and technological updating, focusing on Quality and Research.
The Center for Advanced Pelvic Surgery called “Endoscopica” is an Operating Unit of the Malzoni Research Hospital and today represents an international point of reference for the minimally invasive treatment of highly complex gynecological pathologies.
Particular attention over the years has been dedicated to the study of Endometriosis for the development of medical and surgical diagnosis and treatment strategies following the most up-to-date International Guidelines.
The “National Endometriosis Center” of the Malzoni Research Hospital, with a specialized multidisciplinary team, is responsible for the correct diagnostic framework and clinical management of this complex pathology. A Free Clinic called “Endometriosis Help Desk” is active at the Medical Diagnostics facility.
The MACC (Malzoni Cancer Center) multidisciplinary center is a member of the ROC (Campania Oncology Network).
The GOM (Multidisciplinary Oncology Group) is responsible for the care and medical-surgical management of patients affected by Gynecological Neoplasms (Endometrium-Ovary-Cervix-Vulva).
The Malzoni Cancer Center is characterized by the high volume of oncological cases treated with minimally invasive surgery which guarantees, where appropriate, with equal oncological outcomes, a more rapid functional recovery and therefore an absolute advantage in terms of timing for starting adjuvant therapies (chemo and/or radiotherapy).
The center is recognized by ESGO (European Society of Gynaecological Oncology) as a European Center of Excellence for the surgical treatment of Endometrial Carcinoma for the five-year period 2023-2027.

After undergoing a specialist consultation that indicates the need for surgery, the Pre-Hospitalization Procedure (Pre-Admission) can be initiated.

The dedicated staff will communicate the procedures and timing related to the admission based on the chosen facility.
When being admitted, it is advisable to bring:
- A valid ID document
- Your health insurance card
- Copies of all clinical documentation in your possession, both regarding previous hospitalizations and the condition to be treated (ultrasounds, other diagnostic tests, prescriptions, etc.)
For hospitalizations under an agreement with the National Health Service, it is necessary to show the hospitalization request issued by your family doctor and authorized by the local health authority.
